Tiffany Luscombe with her fiance Ross Dunn after proposing at Gyle Shopping Centre

Leap Year Lovers Bring Smiles To The Gyle

Loved-up Tiffany Luscombe, from Edinburgh, took Cupid's bow into her own hands when she took advantage of leap year tradition and proposed to her boyfriend at the Gyle Shopping Centre on February 29th.

The 19-year-old got down on bended knee to pop the question to her unsuspecting boyfriend of four years Ross Dunn (20), also from Edinburgh, in a specially designated proposal area – and hit the target when he said yes!

Tiffany was one of over 100 women who entered the Gyle's Leap Year search to find a lady to fulfil the romantic tradition.

As well as landing a fiancé, the customer service assistant at Royal Bank of Scotland's Drummond House received a £1500 diamond ring courtesy of the Gyle Shopping Centre and Robert Anthony jewellers as well as a luxury weekend break at Norton House Hotel.
